| Bath House row in Hot Springs is very interesting. The bath houses were very ornate. Hot Springs was designated a federally protected site (National Park) in 1832, 32 years before Yellowstone. | The hot water (147 degrees) that comes out of the ground is piped into the large bathing rooms. Fountains, saunas, pools and more were part of these elaborate facilities. |
